Ballet Shoes are compulsory footwear for all Ballet classes.
Younger students are to wear a Ballet shoe with a full sole, to provide support and strengthen the foot as it develops. Once the student reaches a particular Grade and the foot is deemed mature enough, a split sole Ballet shoe is then appropriate.
Pointe Shoes are not appropriate for any student unless permission has been given by Miss Wendy, Principal, following years of professional Ballet training and an assessment.
