Open Day September 2016

June 2016:
Generations Dance Academy was very lucky to be selected as one of only 25 schools in the UK representing the Royal Academy of Dance to take part in this fabulous day. Nine of my students, Lauren Burford, Victoria Gibbons, Alice Maylor, Katie MacFarlane, Rebecca Gibbons, Texas-Rose Allard, Sophie Wallis, Emily Kett, Freya Clark and myself were part of the 300 dancers who were involved overall. The Theme was to provide a feel of each decade the queen has been our monarch, we were in the 3rd section which, representing the 1970's with music from Star Wars amongst others which inspired our Princess Leia-esque hair style. It has been a very exciting time rehearsing, receiving information about the parade but having to keep it all secret so not to spoil it for friends and family. The girls, their parents and myself are so proud to have been there and be apart of the wonderful atmosphere. There was such a fabulous feeling among all the performers as we all shared the excitement and had a fabulous day.

Queens Birthday

January 2013 saw the opening of our new Studios at Huntingdon Dancentre which gives the school new scope for improvement and a base that we can now call our own. This will enable us to bring in new styles of dance and fitness including Burlesque, Belly Dancing and Drama and Singing Classes.
